Due to the custom nature of our services (AI agents, software development, apps, games), each project involves significant upfront research, planning, and resource allocation. Our refund policy reflects this reality while still protecting our clients.

1. Refund Policy

Project-Based Work (Custom Development)

  • Before Project Start: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • During Discovery Phase: 70% refund if cancelled before development begins
  • During Development: Pro-rata refund based on completed milestones, minus 20% fee for work in progress
  • After Delivery: No refund — 30-day post-launch support included

Subscription Plans

  • Monthly Plans: Cancel anytime — no refunds for partial months
  • Annual Plans: 30-day money-back guarantee from subscription start date
  • Unused Hours: Subscription hours do not roll over monthly

SaaS Products & Pre-Built Apps

  • 7-Day Free Trial: Full access to test the product
  • After Purchase: 14-day refund window for one-time purchases
  • Subscription: Cancel anytime; no refund for current billing period

2. Cancellation Policy

Project Cancellation

  • Projects can be cancelled with written notice via email to hello@livelonkeict.co.za
  • Cancellation effective date is when written notice is received
  • Work completed up to cancellation date must be paid in full
  • All deliverables completed at time of cancellation will be delivered
  • Source code and IP rights transferred only upon full payment

Subscription Cancellation

  • Cancel via your account dashboard or by contacting support
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of current billing period
  • Access continues until end of paid period
  • No early termination fees for monthly plans

Service-Specific Cancellations

  • AI Agents: 48-hour cancellation notice required
  • Maintenance Plans: 30-day notice required
  • Game Servers: 7-day notice required; data retained for 30 days after

3. Timeline & Processing

  • Refund requests processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds credited to original payment method
  • Processing time may vary by payment provider (5-14 business days)
  • Bank transfers used for amounts over R5,000

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Domain registrations and third-party licenses
  • Custom work completed and approved
  • Non-digital services already rendered
  • Consultation and strategy sessions (once completed)
  • Setup fees and configuration costs
  • Training and onboarding sessions

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

6. Dispute Resolution

If you're not satisfied with our resolution, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss your concerns. We are committed to finding amicable solutions. All disputes are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any legal proceedings will take place in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
